Overview of the Manufacturing Base
The intelligent manufacturing base of Hongxing Southeast Building Technology (Xinjiang) officially began production in July 2025. Located in Changji National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the facility represents a major addition to Xinjiang's manufacturing capacity for prefabricated steel structure buildings.
In March 2024, Changji National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone and Hongxing Southeast Group signed an agreement for the intelligent manufacturing base project, with a total investment of approximately RMB 300 million. The company officially established operations in the industrial zone in April 2024 and began upgrading existing factory buildings to accelerate the construction of the new manufacturing facility. Phase I of the project entered production in July 2025.
The manufacturing base covers approximately 160 mu of land and includes around 72,000 square meters of production facilities. It is equipped with eight intelligent production lines, six specialized production workshops, and 58 cranes with different lifting capacities, including units capable of lifting up to 100 tons.
With green manufacturing, digital production, and intelligent manufacturing as its core development concepts, the facility has been designed with an annual steel structure production capacity of up to 100,000 tons.
Since production began in July 2025, the facility has achieved a monthly steel structure output of approximately 1,500 to 2,000 tons. Production orders have already been scheduled into 2026. In addition to supplying steel structures for projects across Xinjiang, the facility will also support the company's expansion into Central Asian markets.
Fully Digitalized Production Control
Hongxing Southeast Building Technology (Xinjiang) specializes in the production of box columns, cruciform columns, large-span spatial steel structures, industrial steel building structures, and other fabricated steel components.
These products are suitable for a wide range of industrial buildings and large public infrastructure projects. Steel structures manufactured by the company have already been used in major projects such as oilfield facilities in Hotan and large-span spatial structure projects in Kashgar.
Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its capabilities into museums, stadiums, airports, bridges, and other large public construction projects while further developing the steel structure market in Central Asia.
The manufacturing base adopts fully digitalized production management and control systems. Every stage of the manufacturing process, from raw material handling and fabrication to quality inspection, can be monitored and traced, helping improve production transparency, efficiency, and quality control.
The facility also applies green manufacturing and construction technologies to optimize production processes and reduce energy consumption. A professional quality inspection team, supported by advanced testing equipment, conducts strict inspections of fabrication accuracy, welding quality, and structural performance to ensure that every steel component meets project requirements.
Supporting the Development of Xinjiang's Steel Structure Industry
The operation of the Hongxing Southeast Xinjiang Intelligent Manufacturing Base will further strengthen local production capacity for prefabricated steel buildings and fabricated steel components in Xinjiang.
The facility will provide more efficient and reliable steel structure supply for industrial buildings, public buildings, and infrastructure projects throughout the region.
At the same time, the company plans to take advantage of Xinjiang's strategic location connecting the Chinese domestic market with Central Asia to expand the supply of steel structure products and engineering services to countries along the Belt and Road.
The completion and operation of the intelligent manufacturing base will contribute to the development of Xinjiang's steel structure and advanced building materials industry chain, while supporting industrial upgrading, intelligent manufacturing, and high-quality economic development in the Changji region.
