What to attach for a steel inquiry, and why a scheme reply is not a settlement price.

Before a quote, send use, length-width-height, doors, crane, cladding and delivery place. Attach drawings or a sketch. Complete data lets scopes be compared, not only the lowest number.

A sketch inquiry is possible, but the reply stays at scheme level and cannot settle tonnage. Thickness, cores, coats and erection must be ticked when two prices are compared.

The form sends an inquiry. Payment and trade terms follow the contract; shop options are examples only. Insurance and destination clearance are not assumed in the steel unit price.

Wait for a written reply. This page does not auto-price or promise an unconfirmed programme.

Tiankai Southeast fabricates marked members from approved drawings and supports erection by mark number. Sizes, loads and delivery follow the confirmed design file and contract; this page does not turn uncalculated tonnage, thickness or time into a promise.

FAQ

  • What should we send with an inquiry?

Please include project location and use, building size or span, drawings (PDF/DWG), steel grade and coating, quantity or area, target delivery and destination port. Fuller data speeds quotation and scheduling. If drawings are not ready, send size and loads first; we will list what else is needed.

  • What is the typical lead time?

Lead time depends on drawing freeze, tonnage, coating and the production slot. After drawings are locked, standard jobs ship in agreed batches. Rush orders can be reviewed, but they do not override confirmed contracts. The schedule is confirmed in writing with the quotation.

  • Is there a minimum order?

Most work is project-based and quoted by drawing and tonnage; there is no retail MOQ. Samples, repair pieces or small top-ups can be discussed, but price and lead time differ from volume jobs. Freezing main sizes early reduces stoppages and extra cost from drawing changes.

  • What payment and trade terms are used?

Export orders usually combine an advance and a balance against shipment, with the ratio, T/T or L/C set in the commercial terms. The Made-in-China profile lists common methods such as FOB, EXW, T/T and L/C. The signed contract controls; no single deposit ratio is fixed before agreement.
