Color Steel Sandwich Panels for Plant Roofs and Walls

Color-Coated Steel Sheets & Sandwich Panels

Composite cladding for steel buildings, confirmed by insulation, thickness and core on the material schedule, not by copying one domestic thickness.

Sandwich panels combine metal skins with an insulated core and suit plants that need temperature control or faster cladding. They are heavier than single-skin sheet, and flashings must follow details, not only a colour sample.

State roof or wall use, insulation or fire needs, colour and cover width. Export jobs also need packing and a local equivalent. We do not lock one thickness or core brand without those notes.

Panels should be drawn with purlin and rail spacing. A profile change often changes secondary members. Stiffen site openings to limit leaks.

This page lists what to check. Thickness, core and fire rating follow the schedule and the contract.

Tiankai Southeast fabricates marked members from approved drawings and supports erection by mark number. Sizes, loads and delivery follow the confirmed design file and contract; this page does not turn uncalculated tonnage, thickness or time into a promise.

FAQ

  • How is surface protection done?

Blasting and coating are done per job: typical shop primer, intermediate and finish coats, or hot-dip galvanizing when specified. Tell us the environment (indoor, coastal, chemical, etc.) and design life so film thickness or zinc coating can be set. Appearance and thickness are checked before dispatch.

  • How do you choose sandwich panel thickness?

Roof and wall sandwich panel thickness depends on insulation, fire rating and local climate, not price alone. First define indoor temperature, humidity, fire needs and wind or snow load, then select profile, core and thickness. Final sizes follow the agreed material schedule.

  • What warranty and documents are provided?

Warranty period and coverage follow the contract and may differ by member and coating system. Shipping documents usually include a packing list and member marks, plus material or inspection papers named in the contract. No extra certificate is promised unless listed.

  • Can cladding color and profile be specified?

Color, profile and insulation core can be specified, subject to lead time and local availability. Please give a color code or sample. If a brand or core is required, include it in the inquiry so we can reply with lead time or an equivalent option.

  • Which steel grades and codes do you follow?

Common carbon grades can be specified (for example Q235, Q355 or an agreed equivalent). Welding, holes, geometry and coating follow the contract drawings and the destination code. For export, state the required standard in the inquiry (GB, EN, ASTM, etc.) so material and inspection can match.
