Livestock Support Steel Sheds for Feed, Machines and Shade

Steel Agricultural Buildings

Open or partly open farm sheds planned for access and wind or snow, not copied from a fully clad warehouse frame.

Support sheds are not always enclosed; some only keep rain and sun off. Open sides change wind uplift and snow, so a four-wall portal should not be reused. Bays must let vehicles in.

State use, open side, size, floor and drainage. Note side walls, curtains or feed lanes. Send known wind or snow data.

FAQ

  • What products do you supply?

The range covers steel workshops, H-beam members, beams and columns, purlins and bracing, space frames and connection parts. Typical uses are industrial plants, warehouses and public buildings, in both custom pieces and volume lots.

  • What is the typical lead time?

Lead time depends on drawing freeze, tonnage, coating and the production slot. After drawings are locked, standard jobs ship in agreed batches. Rush orders can be reviewed, but they do not override confirmed contracts. The schedule is confirmed in writing with the quotation.

  • Is there a minimum order?

Most work is project-based and quoted by drawing and tonnage; there is no retail MOQ. Samples, repair pieces or small top-ups can be discussed, but price and lead time differ from volume jobs. Freezing main sizes early reduces stoppages and extra cost from drawing changes.

  • Who is responsible for foundations and embedments?

The steel frame is usually fabricated in the plant and erected on site. Foundations, concrete and embedments are typically done by a local civil contractor. We can issue base-plate sizes, anchor layouts and embedment notes. The contract scope defines the interface.
